  • For Domestic carry one of the following IDs: Aadhaar card, driving license, PAN card or voter ID. For Internationals, a valid passport is mandatory. Check the visa requirements of the destination country before traveling.
  • Always keep a digital or printed copy of your ticket and your ID handy.

  • Save time by checking in online and getting your digital boarding pass. Kindly visit your airline’s website for web check-in.
  • Web check-in for domestic flights is typically available between 48 hours and 60 minutes before departure.
  • International flights allow web check-in from 24 hours to 75 minutes before departure.

Arriving at the Airport:

Transportation: Passengers can commute to Delhi Airport via road (personal vehicle, cab & buses) or Delhi metro (Airport Expressline for T2 and T3, Magenta Line for T1).

Terminal Entry: Passengers can enter from any of the gates at the terminal. Use a less queued gate to enter.

DigiYatra passengers use dedicated e-gates to enter the terminal. It is currently available on all gates of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Use gate 1A and 2A at Terminal 3. At terminal 2, gates no.1B, 2B, 3B, 4B and 5B support DigiYatra.

Check-In Process: On arrival, locate the check-in counters or kiosks for your airline. Drop off your luggage at the respective airline counter or opt for self baggage drop.

Self Baggage Drop: If you’ve already checked in online, head to the baggage drop counter to save time and skip the check-in queues. For extra safety, consider using the baggage wrapping service.

Security Procedures

Post check-in. Move forward for security screening, be prepared to remove laptops and large electronics from your bag and place them in separate bins. Liquids must be in containers of 100ml or less and packed in a transparent bag.

Customs and Immigration (for international flights):

International Passengers should have their passport, visa and completed customs forms ready to present.

Baggage Claim

  • Follow signs to the baggage claim area and locate your baggage belt number on the flight information screens.
  • For delayed or lost luggage, visit the airline's lost baggage counter.
  • Please don't leave the airport without Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
